Trail description
A 3.4 km climb of about 570 m from the Bergeries de Grotelle at the head of the Restonica valley past the Lac de Melo to the Lac de Capitello at about 1,930 m. The rocky path has chains and short scrambles below Melo, and Capitello lies in a deep granite cirque, frozen until early summer. The Restonica road is busy in summer and parking is paid.
