Corniches du Causse Méjean depuis Le Rozier

Trail description

An 11.7 km loop with about 840 m of climbing from Le Rozier up to the rim of the Causse Méjean and along its corniches between the Gorges du Tarn and the Gorges de la Jonte, past the rock towers of the Vase de Chine and the Vase de Sèvres. Vultures often circle overhead. Steep, rocky paths with drops beside the cliff edge; there is little shade on the causse, so it is very hot in summer.
