Capo Rosso

Trail description

A 3.7 km walk of about 220 m of climbing from the road near Piana out to Capo Rosso, ending at the Genoese tower of Turghiu on its 331 m summit. Capo Rosso is a cape of pink granite reachable only on foot, the westernmost point of mainland Corsica. The tower was built in 1608, and the site is part of a UNESCO World Heritage area.
