Lemmenjoki Luontopolku

Trail description

A marked nature trail loop of about 4 km in Lemmenjoki National Park, starting from the national park car park about 1.5 km from Lemmenjoki village. It follows the Lemmenjoki river through old pine forest and along an esker, passing old reindeer pits and the Muurahaislampi campfire site with views to the Kaapin Jouni homestead. The path is stony in places but otherwise easy and suits families; it is walkable only in the snow-free season.
