Trail description

Volcán Tecapa overlooks the town of Alegría in the Tecapa Chinameca mountain range. The trail climbs through high-altitude coffee plantations and follows the road from Alegría to Tecapa up to the forested summit. Its crater holds the famous Laguna de Alegría, a volcanic lake with changing waters.
