El Boqueron National Park protects the crater of the San Salvador Volcano, featuring a trail that follows the rim of the massive crater, 1.5 kilometers wide. At the bottom, the smaller cone known as El Boqueroncito can be seen. The views of the capital city and the valley are magnificent.
