Trail description

Cerro Grande de Apaneca is one of the highest peaks in the Apaneca Ilamatepec mountain range. The trail climbs through high-altitude coffee plantations and cloud forests up to the summit viewpoint. From the top, you can see crater lakes and the towns of the Ruta de las Flores.
