Trail description

A route to Rumiñahui, an ancient extinct volcano with rocky ridges located within Cotopaxi National Park. From Limpiopungo lagoon, the trail crosses the páramo and ascends via the Rumiñahui Central route to the base of the summit's rock spires; the final scramble to the peak is not included. Approximately 9.0 km with expansive views of Cotopaxi and the valley.
