Trail description

A paramo trail in Cotopaxi National Park that starts from the Tambopaxi refuge towards volcano viewpoints. The path crosses pajonal grasslands and volcanic sand, with the snowy cone dominating the landscape. It is an acclimatization route among deer and wild horses.
