Trail description

A paramo trail in Cotopaxi National Park that climbs from Limpiopungo towards viewpoints of the great volcano. The path crosses pajonal grasslands and volcanic sand, with the snowy cone always in sight. It is a good acclimatization route before attempting the refuge.
