Trail description

A pilgrimage climb of about 400 m from the square in Bystřice pod Hostýnem to Svatý Hostýn, the great Marian shrine of Moravia. The path climbs through the forest of the Hostýnské vrchy past the Císařská cesta signpost to the basilica, where the Way of the Cross by Dušan Jurkovič starts beside the church. It is one of the most visited holy places in the country.
