From Lopar on Rab, the marked Premužićeva staza (route 1) follows a path south through the low maquis to the hamlet of Matkići. About 4.7 km one way with some 150 m of ascent. Rab is reached by car ferry from Stinica on the mainland or from Valbiska on Krk.
