Trail description
A climb through the coffee highlands above the colonial town of Barva de Heredia, passing Joaquina and the village of Ángeles on the way toward the cloud forest of the Barva volcano. Coffee slopes give way to oak woodland on the approach to Braulio Carrillo National Park, with about 240 m of gain over 4.6 km.
