Barra Honda Mirador Nacaome

Trail description

From the ranger station of Barra Honda National Park, this trail climbs 276 m over 3.5 km through recovering tropical dry forest to the Nacaome viewpoint, passing the turnoffs to the cave entrances on the limestone hill. SINAC rates the walk medium to high difficulty, with last entry at 1 pm and advance reservation recommended. Hiking is self guided, but entering the caves requires a hired local guide.
