Trail description

The Tianzhufeng route on the wild north east side of Mount Tai, passing the twin rock spires of the Heavenly Candle Peaks, the Mushroom Rock field and the Dragon Spine ridge before topping out on the Jade Emperor Peak at 1532 m. It is the quietest of the mountain's main approaches and the most scenic in granite terms. The path is stone stepped throughout.
