Trail description

The Taohuayu approach on the western flank of Mount Tai, following a wooded stream valley below the Jade Spring Temple before turning up to the summit ridge. It is longer and gentler underfoot than the eastern stairways and sees far fewer walkers. The route ends at the Jade Emperor Peak.
