Trail description
A 1.6 km walk with about 40 m of climbing through Toconao, from Calle Calama to the road toward Alitar. Toconao is a village in the commune of San Pedro de Atacama, at 2,475 m on the north-eastern edge of the Salar de Atacama, in a small meadow at the foot of the Puntas Negras range. The Ruta 23-CH runs through it on its way over the Sico Pass to Salta Province in Argentina.
