Mirador Pan de Azúcar

Trail description

A 2.4 km walk with about 130 m of climbing to El Mirador viewpoint in Pan de Azúcar National Park, north of Chañaral. The park, whose name means sugar loaf, straddles the border between the Antofagasta and Atacama regions, 30 km north of Chañaral and 180 km north of Copiapó. It was founded in 1985 and covers 437.5 km2, including 1.1 km2 of islands.
