Trail description
A 2.8 km walk with about 40 m of climbing from the Avenida Costanera through the streets of Los Vilos to the road toward the Quebrada de Quereo, on the coast of Choapa Province. Los Vilos, whose name comes from the Mapuche filu, snake, is a coastal town of over 9,000 people in the Coquimbo Region. Its harbour, Puerto Punta Chungo, ships material from the Los Pelambres mine, and fishing is one of its main activities. Tourism centres on its two beaches, La Principal and Las Conchas.
