El Enladrillado desde Altos de Lircay

Trail description

A 9 km climb of about 820 m from the Antahuara camp at the Altos de Lircay administration up through oak and coigue forest to El Enladrillado, a vast flat plateau of basalt slabs at about 2,150 m that looks paved by hand. From the edge the view runs over the Claro river canyon to the Descabezado volcanoes. Long and exposed to the sun: carry plenty of water.
