Trail description
The walk starts at the east end of the Paseo Playa Principal boardwalk in Pichilemu and follows it and the Costanera along the main beach, below the Parque Agustín Ross, then rounds La Puntilla and takes the cliff-top path to the Mirador Rapa Nui at Infiernillo. The park was laid out in 1885 by Agustín Ross Edwards, who planned Pichilemu as a seaside resort; with its balustraded stairs down to the main beach, it is protected together with the old casino as a Monumento Histórico and lies within the town's Zona Típica. Infiernillo, at the south end of the town, is known for rock formations where the waves break and for strong currents. The walk is about 3.1 km one way, with some 40 m of climbing.
