Trail description
A short desert walk to the Aldea de Tulor, the remains of an ancient village near San Pedro de Atacama. Its circular walls of mud were first built between about 380 BCE and 200 CE, and most structures date from 800 to 1200 CE. The village complex covers 5,200 m2, with outlying buildings spread along 2 km, and the site has been placed on the World Monuments Watch list. The route follows the path to the ruins and back.
