Trail description

A 4.8 km climb on the marked C8 trail from Xoxo, a village 5 km south of Ribeira Grande where the Ribeira da Torre flows through, up a stone-paved path and steps out of the valley to the ridge road near Água das Caldeiras. Xoxo lies in the Cova-Paul-Ribeira da Torre Natural Park, and the only road to it comes up the Ribeira da Torre valley from Ribeira Grande.
