Cape Split Trail

Trail description

Backcountry trail from the parking lot at the end of Cape Split Road near Scots Bay through forest to the meadow at the tip of Cape Split, a look-off about 60 m above the Minas Basin. Nova Scotia Parks rates it moderately challenging, about 13.2 km round trip taking 4 to 6 hours, and warns that the cliffs are actively eroding, so stay on the trail and well back from the edge.
