Cape Chignecto Coastal

Trail description

An 8.3 km coastal hike with about 325 m of climbing and 165 m of descent in Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, from Refugee Cove along the Coastal Trail past French Lookout and near Cape Chignecto. The park, opened in 1998, is the largest provincial park in Nova Scotia and anchors one end of the UNESCO Cliffs of Fundy Global Geopark. It is named after the headland that divides the Bay of Fundy into Chignecto Bay and the Minas Channel.
