Trail description
From the Illecillewaet trailhead near Rogers Pass, the Avalanche Crest trail climbs steadily to an alpine basin below Avalanche Crest, which Parks Canada calls one of the best scenic trails in the park. Parks Canada lists 10.2 km return with 795 m of elevation gain. A Parks Canada daily admission pass is required.
