Trail description

A 4.7 km climb of about 600 m from the Banff-Windermere Highway near Vermilion Pass to Arnica Lake, at about 2,150 m below Storm Mountain in Banff National Park. The trail first drops about 135 m to Vista Lake, then climbs steadily to the lake, with larches that turn gold in late September. A park pass is required and bear spray is recommended.
