Ammonite Falls

Trail description

A 2.4 km walk with about 105 m of climbing and 90 m of descent from the Creekside Place trailhead near Nanaimo on the Ammonite Falls regional trail to the viewpoint over Ammonite Falls on Benson Creek. The falls are in Benson Creek Falls Regional Park, 32 ha of creeks, waterfalls, steep ravines and mossy woods. They are named for the ammonite fossils found in the sedimentary rock around the waterfall.
