Acadian Trail, Chéticamp

Trail description

Loop from opposite the Chéticamp visitor centre of Cape Breton Highlands National Park that climbs 365 m above the Chéticamp River for views of the Acadian coastline, the river valley and the highland interior, with benches along the way. Parks Canada rates it moderate: 8.4 km, 3 to 4 hours, with steep inclines, rugged sections and stream crossings. A national park admission fee applies.
