Sarnitsa to Kupena and Orlovi Skali Eco Trail

Trail description

This municipal eco trail in the Eastern Rhodopes near Sarnitsa village (Mineralni Bani municipality) runs partly on gravel and existing roads, with information signs, waymarks and three rest areas. It links Kupena hill, which has fortress remains, with Orlovi Skali, rocks 30 to 40 m high that hold a prehistoric rock sanctuary with carved trapezoidal niches. The full trail is 4.75 km.
