Trail description

A walk from the town of Chiprovtsi up the Ogosta valley to the Chiprovtsi Monastery in the far northwestern Balkan, a centre of the 1688 uprising against Ottoman rule. Most of the way follows the quiet valley road. The cloister sits in a green valley below the border ridges.
