Belogradchik Rocks

Trail description

A loop from the centre of Belogradchik into the Belogradchik Rocks natural landmark, a maze of red and yellow sandstone and conglomerate towers just south of the town. Tracks and paths wind past the formations known as the Madonna and the Camel to the walls of the Belogradchik Fortress, and the return follows the red-marked path along the foot of the rocks. The fortress charges an entry fee and is not on the line.
