Trail description

Starts in the village of Guiné and climbs the Trilha para o Vale do Pati onto the high gerais plateau, crosses to the Mirante do Pati and descends into the valley past Dona Raquel's guest house to the house known as Prefeitura. The Pati, once home to about 400 families and now to some ten, lies wholly inside the Chapada Diamantina National Park; a local guide is recommended.
