Trail description
Brazil's third highest point is located in Caparao National Park, on the border of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo. The trail climbs from Terreirao through high-altitude grasslands to the summit at 2,892 meters. It is a tradition to camp and reach the top at dawn to watch the sunrise over the sea of mountains.
