Pedra do Sino Teresópolis

Trail description

Climbs from the Teresópolis headquarters of Serra dos Órgãos National Park, at about 1100 m, to the summit of Pedra do Sino, a gain of about 1175 m over roughly 11 km and 5 to 6 hours one way. The lower part follows historic stone paving through forest past two waterfalls, then a rough trail zigzags up past the Abrigo 4 mountain shelter and camping area. Access is limited to 100 people per day.
