Morro do Couto Itatiaia

Trail description

Starts near the Posto do Marcão entrance to the upper part (Parte Alta) of Itatiaia National Park and follows the Couto-Prateleiras trail up to the 2680 m summit of Morro do Couto, the first mountain reached from the park entrance. Wikipedia describes it as about two hours of easy hiking; the top looks out over Pico das Agulhas Negras and the Serra Fina.
