Trail description

In the Itatiaia plateau, the trail starts from Abrigo Rebouças and crosses high-altitude grasslands to the base of Prateleiras, rock formations stacked like books. The path passes through low vegetation and rock outcrops with views of Agulhas Negras. It is about 4.6 km round trip; climbing to the top of the rocks requires technique and is not part of the route.
