Trail description
In the Serra Geral National Park, in Cambará do Sul, the trail starts from the Cânion Fortaleza parking lot and crosses high-altitude grasslands to the canyon edge. It passes by the Mirante da Borda and continues along the Trilha Fortaleza to the main viewpoint, overlooking vertical cliffs that open up to the coastal plain. It is about 3.7 km round trip, with almost no elevation gain.
