Bico do Papagaio Tijuca

Trail description

In Tijuca National Park, the trail starts at Largo do Bom Retiro and climbs through dense forest to the rocky summit of Bico do Papagaio, at 990 meters. The path features steep sections with roots and rocks, and is less crowded than the neighboring Pico da Tijuca. From the top, the view opens up over the forest, Pico da Tijuca, and the city. It is about 4 km round trip.
