Trail description

Stage BH-W-06 of the Via Dinarica White Trail climbs from Jablanica on the Neretva onto Prenj and crosses the range below Otiš and Cvat to Ruište. It is about 39 km with some 2,450 m of climbing, so plan 2 days with a night at the Međuprenje hut (km 14) or the Vrutak hut (km 24). Prenj is dry and rocky: carry all water and start early. Mine-suspected areas from the 1990s war remain in parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina: stay on the marked path.
