Trail description

The walk starts at the Condoriri base camp beside Laguna Chiar Khota and climbs a faint path over moraine and rocky slopes, with wide views over the glacial lakes and the Condoriri peaks. It ends on the shoulder just below the summit of Pico Austria, a popular acclimatisation hike whose usual route from Laguna Chiar Khota needs no advanced climbing technique.
