Trail description
A short but demanding high-altitude hike to the summit of the former Chacaltaya glacier, at over five thousand meters. From the old ski refuge, the trail climbs along the ridge to the summit and continues to the viewpoint, offering views of Huayna Potosí and Lake Titicaca. A 2.5 km round trip where the lack of oxygen makes every step count.
