Trail description
This 8.5 km loop (102 m of climb) starts by the Bérinzenne estate and follows the Vecquée, an old Gaulish track that became a Roman road, along the Fagne de Malchamps above Spa. The 358 ha upland of bogs, heath and forest became a state nature reserve in 2020. A memorial to No. 550 Squadron RAF recalls the British bomber that crashed on the fagne on 24 April 1944.
