Belvédère and Roche Sanglante

Trail description

This 2.5 km loop (111 m of climb) covers part of Aywaille route AY04, which is signed at 3.2 km and starts at the tourist office, heading toward the Amblève bridge. It climbs to the Roche Sanglante, a group of limestone rocks protected since 1946 that inspired a legend by Marcellin La Garde, and returns past the Corniche belvedere and the town park. The rocks host typical limestone flora such as the Aywaille houseleek.
