A 5.4 km climb of about 1,240 m from Neustift im Stubaital up steep forest and pasture to the Starkenburger Hütte at 2,237 m, below the cliffs of the Hoher Burgstall, with views over the Stubai Alps. A chairlift from Neustift offers a shortcut.
