Trail description
A climb from Greis near Maria Schutz up the Almsteig, the blue-marked path, to the Sonnwendstein, at 1,523 m the high point above the Semmering pass. The Pollereshütte stands just below the summit, and on top are the Josefskapelle, built in the 1930s, and a broadcasting mast. On clear days the all-round view reaches as far as Lake Neusiedl.
