Trail description
A flat 2.8 km loop around the Schwarzsee, a moor lake about 2 km west of Kitzbuhel and the warmest in Tyrol, reaching up to 27 degrees in summer. The nature trail follows the reedy shore through a protected area with views of the Kitzbuheler Horn and the Kaisergebirge; the full circuit takes about 45 minutes. The lake is only about 7 m deep and has a bathing area with slides and a diving platform.
