Trail description
A 7.9 km walk with about 220 m of climbing from the Kölnbrein dam at the end of the Malta high road along the reservoir and up the Großelendtal to the Osnabrücker Hütte at 2,022 m. The hut stands below the Hochalmspitze glaciers in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The Malta high road is a toll road open from June to October.
