Trail description

A 2-day out-and-back of 26.1 km with about 1,560 m of climbing from Seewiesen up the Seetal to the Voisthaler Hütte at 1,654 m, where most walkers spend the night, and on over the karst plateau to the Hochschwab at 2,277 m, the highest summit of its range, then back the same way. The plateau has little water and is easy to lose in fog. Book the hut ahead in summer.
