Trail description

A 9.1 km climb of about 1,000 m from Johnsbach in the Gesäuse up the Johnsbach valley and through forest and pasture to the Heßhütte at 1,699 m, below the walls of the Hochtor. The hut is a base for the high Gesäuse peaks. It is in the Gesäuse National Park.
